BIBLE BOWL 2011
This year’s Bible Bowl will focus on characters from the Bible who were unshaken in their faith. The questions will be trivia-style and will come from the provided scriptures:
1st Corinthians
2nd Corinthians
Our prayer is that as each participant in this year’s Bible Bowl prepares for competition, the words from these scriptures will be planted in your hearts. Each team can consist of 6 players. Only 4 players will play at one time. A church may have more than 1 team participate in Bible Bowl. Rock points will be awarded to participating churches.
BPYC Bible Bowl Rules
1. Each round consists of 18 questions and 6 overtime questions, if needed. If a tie exists after the overtime questions, questions will then be asked until the tie is broken.
2. A player has 10 seconds, after question is read, to buzz in to provide an answer.
3. Player must be recognized before answering the question.
4. If a player buzzes in before the question is finished and misses the question, the opposing team will then get a chance to hear the entire question and be given 10 seconds to respond.
5. A coach may call up to three timeouts per round.
6. The judge's decision is final.
7. After question 9, one player from each team will share a testimony or praise report.
8. A first round loss eliminates the team. Then, after 1 round we go to double elimination.
