Canoeing

In order to participate in this activity, you must sign the Release found on the Camper Registration form stating that you have read and agree to abide by the UCanoe policies (see form at top of the page). Certified lifeguards will be on duty and participants are required to wear life jackets. If female participants wear dresses or skirts, they are required to wear shorts under them. At the appointed time, you must travel (with a counselor) to the lake via the driveway located behind the Tabernacle. CAUTION: For safety purposes, anyone caught at the lake or the surrounding area before or after the appointed hours will be brought before the Disciplinary Oversight Committee.

Sports

We will have tournaments for boys in Flag Football, for girls in Volleyball, and boys and girls in Basketball. Proper shoes (tennis shoes) MUST be worn in order to participate in sports.

Fishing

If interested, please bring your own equipment and tackle.

Miscellaneous Activities

There will be inflatables, crafts, cornhole tournaments, photography, slingshot range, campfire devotions, relay races, water games, scavenger hunt, nail art and facials (for girls), ping pong, “field day” events, and more activities to be planned.

Banners

All churches are encouraged to design a banner utilizing the 2011 BPYC theme. Banners can be made Tuesday through Thursday and will be displayed on Friday. Banners must be made at camp and supplies will be furnished.

Youth Camp Choir and Drama Team

Choir and Drama practices will be held Tuesday through Thursday in the Tabernacle, and practice times will be announced. The Youth Camp Choir and Drama Team is open for all camp participants.

Drama

This year, your church drama team can showcase their talents in the morning services. To participate, please submit a video of your performance, along with your youth leader’s contact information, to:

If a video of the drama you would like to perform can be found on YouTube, internet, etc., please email the link to Ashley Addison at ashley@bzym.us. If chosen to perform, a director will contact your youth leader. Videos will need to be submitted no later than July 1, 2011.
